I didn't initially plan to write smut.

My infatuation with writing came early, and I still have wrinkled notebooks in the basement with elementary school stories of my pets going on long, Lord of the Rings-esque journeys.

I've always been a voracious reader, and with every new novel I consumed, I'd get new ideas, going so far as to bring floppy disks across the country when my family visited relatives so I could still work on how exactly the vampire would meet the vampire hunter and fall in love. (I was inspired by a mix of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, indie YA novels, Evanescence, and rampant teenage hormones; don't judge.)

And then, at thirteen, the day came when I read my first romance novel.

"Whoa," I thought. "That was cool."

And so began the romance novel shelf on my bookcase.

Several years ago, I started writing the sort of story I always enjoyed reading: doused in banter, sprinkled with hot smut, and rife with enthusiastic consent.

These are the stories I enjoy, and I sincerely hope you'll enjoy as well.
